Onwards and upwards, 2025 was a great momentum builder. The overview of the year was that I was in New York for the NYU Sprint in January which laid our Sheltrium groundwork. April I went to DC again for the STAR-TIDEs capabilities demonstration. Sheltrium was accepted into the Summer Launchpad so I traveled to NY 3 times so we could do our practice investor meetings and attend some of the classes in person. Being able to work together was much better, remote doesn't have the same vibes. August I was then back to Germany for the Collapse Lab and we built some excellent self supporting timber structures.

Through the fall, there was the major shift, I did a deep dive into AI coding and started building some projects. It started with the Sheltirum app, and then I expanded to some previous ideas that had been cooking over the past few years.

New Projects

Here's a quick one liner for each, and a link where you can find more, so as the projects evolve the information stays current:

Sheltrium.com: Our startup and product recommendation engine marketplace, aimed at homeowners who want to be more resilient and self sufficient.

app.sheltrium.com: The beginnings of the web-app, where users can store information about their properties, the risks they face and the preparation they've done.

Daedalmap.com: Is a conversation driven GIS map that helps you explore data and compare across various sources. I've always loved holographic maps and displays in movies, of generals looking over battlefields or scientists exploring space and planets. I had a vision in the back of my mind for awhile, but never had a way of making it. As per my previous years, I've started collecting data and data sources, so now I've put it to use. It can map all sorts of demographics data (economics, census, WHO...) to see changes over time, as well as mapping disaster events and climate effects across all sorts of geographic areas.

Disaster Clippy: is a project to store website and DIY guides and allow people to search them with a conversational AI to help them find what they need. Its an evolution of my old research of combining data and finding wikis to work with.

Prometheus AI: A local LLM rig I made from my old mining hardware that lets me run deeper and longer tasks, while reducing reliance on cloud AI models.

Overall, this is my GitHub for future projects.

With these projects, I feel I'm starting to get all the pieces I've been hinting at over the years. The missing piece is a "location map", that tracks where different eco villages and alternative communities are around the world. I know I've seen some maps already being made, so this feels like the same problem as trying to unify different wikis. the information exists, it's just fragmented and not updated, so somehow it needs to be pulled together.

But right now, I've got the data layer from Daedal Map that gives us information about the world, past and present. There's Disaster Clippy, which organizes how to guides and information for people to make a difference. Sheltrium is the product marketplace to buy solutions and services to help people be more resilient. All of this can be tied together with the STAR-TIDES network to help find all the like minded people to start the information engine.

I think it's in good shape to grow through 2026!

PS. I've split my yearly plan into two parts, Philosophical side coming soon, I wanted to keep this one crisp with a project summary, the other one is more of my thoughts and ideas flowing.
